Hey everyone! Sorry this
will be such a short email. We just got back from a district PDay and I
literally have 20 minutes to type...
Monday was a cleaning
day since some other missionaries in the mission got bed bugs and Sister Turvey
didn't want cross contamination. So we spent four hours deep cleaning our flat
and then had to take stuff to charity shops and do our shopping. So it was a
quick day. We had a lesson with Kayleigh and then the Griffiths and then drove
to pick the North Shields sisters up and drove to Newcastle to spend the night
Tuesday we had Zone
Conference which was amazing! Then we rushed home for the Book of Mormon Class
and then had tea at the Grimes.
Wednesday we did service
at Saltwell Park again, just weeding this time. Then we had a few lessons and
yeah, not much to report.
Thursday was a full day
of finding. We did some knocking in the rain. Gotta love England! We did have a
cool miracle though as a recent convert and his fiancée invited her cousin to a
lesson with us and we were able to teach him the Restoration and schedule him!
We are so excited and hope he progresses well!
Friday we had weekly
planning all morning and then had a few lessons in Blyth. We did have a miracle
of getting in touch with a less active. We tried by and he wasn't in. So we
knocked a few doors and were about to head out when a car pulled up and I had a
distinct thought to not drive off. So we waited and the guy got out of the car and
was the less active we were trying to get ahold of! Then we picked up a member
and went to visit Jennifer Thompson. Funny story, so we finally found her
records but she'd been marked as dead by accident...so we got her resurrected.
Hence the title of the email!
Saturday we did some
more service for a less active. We finished painting her bathroom and she
invited us for tea next week! Then we had some great lessons and yeah...a lot
of lessons actually! Sorry for the vagueness...
Sunday was amazing!
There was a baby blessing so a lot of people came. We had to open the overflow!
It was so great! Then we had a few lessons, missionary coordination and then
studies and tea.
Again, I'm sorry for the
shortness of this email. I'll make up for it (hopefully) next week.
I love you all! Have a
great week!
Sister Hope
